Edible Cockroaches

$0.00

Ingredients
• Medjool dates
• Crunchy peanut butter
• Milk chocolate melting wafers (Ghirardelli brand is best)

Directions

  1. Split the Medjool dates in half lengthwise and remove the pits.

  2. Fill each date half with crunchy peanut butter, leveling off any excess.

  3. Add the milk chocolate melting wafers to a piping or resealable bag and microwave until melted. Snip a very small amount off the tip.

  4. Cover the peanut butter side with melted chocolate, then flip and place down on parchment paper.

  5. Pipe a small head onto each cockroach, followed by the antennas and legs.

  6. If needed, make a second pass over the legs and antennas with chocolate to strengthen them.

  7. Allow the chocolate to fully dry on parchment paper to set before serving.
